My mum is looking to pick up a new bike and couldn’t find answers to the following:

does the £1000 limit apply to RRP or to shop price? as the bike she’s looking at is £1150 RRP but almost all shops are selling it at £975.

also, can you add your own cash to the £1000 limit. i.e. if she wanted a £2k bike, could she do half through the scheme and half in cash out of her own pocket?

It’ll be the shop price, but check they’re prepared to sell for £975 on cycle 2 work, we won’t do sale bikes on Cyclescheme as they take 10%, and it’s just too much to swallow on a discounted bike.

We let customers supplement it with their own money, I think it’s up to the shop though.
