My niece has found these whilst walking on the beach. I think they're Polish military but I couldn't find out much else about the person, using the name and date of birth.

Has anybody any ideas of anywhere specific I could look for information or if anything should be done with them?

Found on the beach? Maybe they're from a Polish SEAL?

Cooks?

Various accounts on twitter for Polish army / Siły Zbrojne RP, try sending the pic to them?
Could be a story behind it, but just as likely some army nerd bought replica and dropped them...

Bob, surely you hvae watched the Steven Segal classic, Under Siege?

Since then, a military chef/cook, has become a joke reference to being Special Forces.

At least thats what I hope Drac was alluding to!

Whoosh, I'm afraid. Thought it might refer to a stealth edit

odd not to have the ID number on them, they may well be "fashion items", all id tags i've come across serving have your ID number on. Also Polish ones are/will be oval. You could try asking over on ARRSE..

gone AWOL, ex has thrown them away, are the probable causes. but you could email a picture to the polish Military attaché, some one might be looking for him.
Just looked on like and its probably easier to use twitter

I reckon this is the guy, he qualified in trade and works in logistics but I think he changed job in July so the employer is'nt up to date, it's MJR Universe logistics now.
