Been living in Fulham, West London for about the last 5 years. Have always done most of my riding in the Surrey hills or traveling to the downs or the chiltons by car.

Result is I'm getting tired of having to spend time in the car just to get a quick fix. Anyone local to west london know of trails which I could have a quick evening blast round straight from my door?

Wimbledon Common? Not a lot but a few trails.

Richmond Park, Horsenden Hill, Grand Union Canal pub crawl, jump spot off GUC in Southall, Great Windsor Park, Teddington Lock, south-side towpath towards Richmond and beyond. Nowt hardcore but cycling miles aplenty.

Jump on the tube up to Ruislip Woods – loads in the woods and a whole playground west into the Chilterns….?
