    So it would appear that the best part of £300 gets me an XO1 rear mech and a chainset without a chainring!.. That’s all really.

    You maths ain’t the best, as there £159 & £169 = £328, either that or merlin are sending you better offers!

    Ok, I was being generous to them! On the email I got;

    Crank: £159.95
    Mech: £164.99

    TBF to them a quick google, suggests £159 is what merlin/CRC are doing it for, cheaper than the rest… not that I’d suggest it was cheap by any means, let alone £59 for a chainring 😯
