Hi guys wondering if you could help trying to remove a kona 2009 crankset, and was wondering if you could put me in the correct direction. The crankset is an fsa moto, but I cant find any info on the net about removal of this cranset.I have removed square taper and shimano in the past, but there seems to be an alloy head cover on this crankset and before I dive in,I was basically looking for direction to removing the crankset cover or is there a special tool for this crank any help appreciated

Looks as if it has a “self extracting bolt.Undo the two pinch bolts on the left side crank. Undo the bolt from the left side axle(8mm) – the left crank should come with it. Push the chainset out towards the drive side by hand/ rubber mallet.

Reluctant thanks for replying I managed to work it out.It is a highly polished cap with a 5mm hex in the middle, which basically works the same principle as the hollowtech plastic screw cover.Because the cap is recessed like a funnel and hex key fit in the centre that it totally threw me from a standard fit like the 8 mm hex on a taper fitting. So came off very easy, refitting you just screw up until the cap locks no more pressure than that,as it is the crank bolts that holds everything together.Well had it off checked and greased the bottom brack etc and re-fitted,
