I got a bike off here about 18 months ago for my dad and never paid any attention to it until tonight when i went round to check the gears.

Frame is Tange, gears are Shimano exage 300 lx (i think), biopace chainset.

Frame and forks are black with saracen on the down tube but no model name that i could see.

Any ideas about what it could be?

fixed up a workmates saracen andes which was tange cromo, old lx bits. 7 speed. orange with green rigid forks. Think it was later than 93 though. earlier version of that?

will snaffle some pics tomorrow. It has a 1 1/8th steerer tube and an aheadset rather than quill stem
