Running Hope V2 brakes. Front runs a treat, the rear brake when left for a couple of days the lever goes back to the bars on the first pull. One of the pistons seems to have retreated back inside the caliper thus only contacting disc really with one pad. Easily fixed by pushing pads and realigning to centre of disc.

The Calipers are perfectly central so thats not the issue.

They are only a couple of months old, Ive bled the front to shorten the hose when fitting and thats great.

Is the rear a bleed issue perhaps?

Cheers for any thoughts and help.

Sounds like air in the system that is rising to the reservoir when left overnight? Once bleeding has been sorted, the pistons should be fine too (as you will centralise them during the bleed).

Thanks for that, worth giving it a bleed then. You’d think from factory it wouldn’t have air in it though. Best get my pipes and spanners out then.
