    Looking at getting a new TV (see other thread). Reading the spec for one tele I notice that it doesn’t have a remote control… it has a REMOTE COMMANDER! What a load of old (in new STW kitten friendly non sweary parlance) chooch.

    Sitting 2 metres from the screen does not warrant the term “remote” IMO. I would have called it a “Wireless Hand-held Controller”.

    But I’m only an Engineer and not a marketing egg-head
