How about a bench and a plaque on/ near his favourite trail?

I think that's a really good idea. Although I'm not sure of the logistics involved or the practical side of it.

How about we don't clutter his favourite trail with signs of civilisation. I don't know about the rest of the forum members but I like my wilderness and countryside reasonably rugged and barren. Just my 2p worth.

I would like to contribute towards a bench or momorial plaque. Or even some flowers. I think its a good idea. This news has struck a chord with me.

I've read this thread wondering what to say. Still have no idea what I can say. Although I suspect there isn't much you can say.

My thoughts are with his family. RIP Jahwomble. You are missed.
