Coffee on the stove.
Porridge in the microwave.
Road bike ready for a trip into town.
Then back for a blast round the woods on the MTB.

I love being part time.

It just stopped raining here in Edinburgh, looks like it will be a miserably grey day. Still can't complain, summer was pretty good so far.

Enjoy your nice weather.

Sorry about the rain up North chaps. We're off to the lakes on holiday in a few hours. My fault.

Nice commute in this morning, rode in with someone who also works here and lives near me, small World and all that. Was a strange conversation as I pulled along side, where you heading etc... turns out we both work in the some general area and know of each other by name.

Looking forward to the ride home already, might stop for a cheeky pint also 8)

This. Except its still raining over this side of Edinburgh. I shall mostly be sitting in damp clothes today. *plans travel adventure to somewhere it never rains*

Absolutely stunning here in NW Hampshire. Shame the view outside of my office doesn't match the weather though, unless of course you like Volvo 8x4 FM Chassis'.

Only 7 hours to go until I can enjoy the delights of the Hants/ Wilts countryside. Evening road ride planned tonight. 😀

A bright light just appeared in the sky and nearly blinded me, fortunately the nasty thing has gone away again. 😈

Muggy and overcast in the North East and I'm still sunburnt from the Sunderland Air Show at the weekend. 😳

BUT I managed a nice commute into work:
12 miles through Tyneside Country Park and alongside the Tyne into the toon. Bunny rabbits, birds singing and the odd hint of sun peeking through. Lovely.

It's a black iridiums kind of day in that London today.

But dont be moving too quickly, or you'll break out in a sticky sweat in no time.

Great weather in the East Midlands today, I'm off to Woburn whenever I can be bothered to put my bike in the car! Last UK summer ride before my bike gets cleaned up then packed away for its long holiday abroad 🙂

Not going too far from a weapons-grade fan today. It was hot, moist and dusty on the Chase last night and I went a bit too far and a bit too fast.

Out on the cross bike this evening taking in some of the SW Nottingham/Long Eaton bridleways. In the meantime, sat at the desk with a small rivulet of sweat running down my back...

Currently overcast in Bristol but BBC weather says it'll be sunny just in time for me to finish work and go for a spin round Ashton Court.

Trying to decide where to ride at the weekend - will be near Hexham and can't decide whether to go to Kielder, Hamsterly, Inners/Glentress or just for a leisurely spin on the moors.

Perma drizzle seems to have settled in here in Edinburgh. I've just attempted some woodworking and now my recovering, broken shoulder is aching. Later I'm riding an exercise bike in the gym.

I am sat on Tankerton beach right now watching my kids splashing around in the water. Lovely, hot and steamy down here on the Kent coast. Water is pretty warm and we're having a great time!

Only live a 3 minute walk away so this is a daily thing. 8)

Will be out on the road bike for quick 40 miles through the orchards this evening, been a bumper crop this year, the poor trees are groaning under the weight of apples.

It was supposed to rain here in the West Midlands so I came the fun way over Cannock Chase this morning expecting it to be the last dry commute for a while, but the sun's out and it's really rather nice. Fun way back home too then!

Ithought I was going out for a 20 mile pootle along the Devon coast to the beach, turns out the Devon coast 'is a little bit hilly' and am now enjoying a relax on the beach

Abandoned earlier skills session and ride..there is wet and then there 👿 wet 🙄 We had an almighty stair rods downpour before I got anywhere and the main roads were awash with water.
Did`nt fancy riding through trails buried under water ❗
Dried up a bit now so may go out later but probably more likely tomorrow.

Very nice at Woburn today, ground's not quite as beachy as it was last month! So close to clearing the last jump of the transfer line (the one that lands into the bombhole) and for the first time felt like I got some reasonable distance on the last hip line jump 🙂

lovely ride last night, mrsconsequence is away in coventry for some residential course with her new job so we rode last night at a good pace, only one stop other than 15 seconds every-now-and-then for liquid, beautiful weather....

i love it when you feel that riding buzz the next day knowing its less than 36 hours before the next ride 😀

Aha ha..
Last nights ride was a tiring one, 3 pnctures, a rabid dog and a bee sting on my nose all helped to enhance the pain in my legs. Quite an amazing ride though, sweat like an ikle piggywiggy and drank two bottles (though half of one poured over my head) HArd work up the trails into the woods where the foresty commission have rap*d the trees back (boooohoooo) and back down the river home..
Too tired to eat much so cheese and crackers and ripe tomatoes for supper..Yummmmmmmy.

Another glorious day darn sarf and yes, we're on the beach again already. Tide is right out so a bit of crab hunting is occurring 🙂 fortunately for the crabs my lads are incapable of being quiet so plenty of opportunity for them to scuttle off.

We are all appearing in a cycling photoshoot this afternoon then it's a barbecue on the beach early evening with a few friends.

Summertime + time off work = ace 🙂
