Just watching Leon: the professional now. For the first time in years. It truly is a great film. Oldman is amazing.

Re: the “it’s shit” vs “I don’t like”. I can see (hear) that Amy Whitehouse is an accomplished singer but I don’t like her work. It’s not to my taste. Some people might take that disinterest as me saying her music is shit but they’d be wrong and misunderstanding what is actually being said.

Really the criteria for the thread should be: you’ve invited a load of mates round for a few beers and there’s a pile of videos by the TV. Which of the films should be chosen to please most people?

Ferris fails the ‘Don’t be a dick’ rule 24 times for every minute of screen time. I’m sure there is an extended cut out there with a post credits sequence. Said sequence is footage of Cameron’s funeral and his Father being arrested for murder.
