Legally a tomato is a vegatable.
The law is not always correct.
Although it was proved (at the European Court no less) that Jaffa Cakes are indeed cakes, and not biscuits.

Not only is it a vehicle, it’s the best vehicle.

Legally, yes but it is not a mechanically propelled vehicle, nor is it a motor vehicle.

    Depends who is asking.

From a personal tax perspective, neither a bicycle or motorcycle are vehicles. 🙂

In Scotland I believe a bike is an aid to pedestrians, so no, not really.

I’m not convinced that tomatoes have a legal status…but they are fruits, not vegetables.

It is if you try to book a ferry crossing without a car. On the Stena site, it is classed as a vehicle.

The classic UK “Evel Knievel” road sign:

means no motor vehicles if that helps.

Biologically and botanically a tomato is a fruit.
Legally it a vegetable and must be sold as such.

knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.
wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

Depends who’s asking. From a strict factual point of view it’s a vehicle, however most legal use of the term “vehicle” (especially “no vehicles”) is a shorthand for motor vehicles (or more strictly mechanically propelled vehicles), in which case a bike isn’t.

Is a horse a vehicle? It’s because it does the same as a car..

Carries passengers, doesn’t like people overtaking them, consumes a LOT of fuel, releases a massive amount of crap into the atmosphere (and onto the roads) etc etc?

I also think horse riders should pay road tax. Think of all the turd that the council has to clean up! 😀

    YES.

It’s a machine designed to transport people and things. Classic definition of a vehicle.

So if you’re looking to justify an argument about road signs that state ‘give way to vehicle’ or some other elated item, then yes, it’s just as valid as a car.
