so i cut myself before the ride today and its like a deep papercut, having no 1st aid kit i use a J-cloth to try and stop the blood, i thaught it had finnished so put a McDonalds tissue around my finger and put the glove over the top, after about an hour and half i took the tissue off as i thaught it must have stopped by know, so i put the glove on and rode off, after about 10 mins the whole finger on the glove is full of blood,

rinsed it off at home but its still there, whats the best way to get it out?

Spit, preferably that of the bleeder, or should that be bleedee?

    Works for small stains anyway.

Has it dried yet? if not dampen the affected area and use salt on the blood stain, rub it together to use as a grinding paste then rinse, repeat until gone.

Yeah, yeah. "Cut myself". They hear that all the time.

Seriously, it'll still have DNA traces on it even after you've washed it. You need to burn the gloves or they'll nail you for it eventually.

Rinsing in the River Aire seems quite effective.

+1 for soaking in cold water, use an old-fashioned stain remover like Biotex if necessary. (Father of 3 messy kids here).

    What drac said.

I put my blood-soaked shorts in a normal 40 degree wash with persil and they came out spotless 🙂

Have you tried licking, it's a last resort but effective. Honest.

oh, and before you ask, I believe the accepted method is lots of sharp sand, dab of cement at the corners & centres and jump on 'em to settle
