14 here, though if dont include the -1 for carrying a GPS, coz it is kept inside my bag to show how gnar fast I was on the totally gnar descent then I could attain a gnar 15…….
You have this totally wrong, just basing your scale on equipment. it is regularly proven around here that the "Gnar" weekender poofs are shown up by bar-ended, clipped-in, lycra locals who don't don't poop their frilly pants at the sight of an actual mountain, and then cry into their shandy about how they "NEED more travel/armour/notes from their mum/etc…Why is the average MTB in Bedfordshire more "Gnar" than in Powys? Because there's a big difference between doing it and getting ready for it. Come round mine and tell me I'm wrong.
A fairly respectible 11 but thats only because I cant remove the window from one of my shifters and I have travel adjust. Oh and for the tyres I have 2x 2.35 so I gave myself 1 point.
My old bike would have got 21 bloody hell that is Gnar to the power of sick and it was my only bike so used it for XC and DH. But I guess that's why it got replaced.
