Hi,

I want to create a step by step install guide for a product and wonder if anyone can recommend an on-line web service that can do this.

Ideally I want to restrict access to approved users who will be able to edit the content.

Is there anything that does this off the shelf or would I need to create something using WordPress or similar?

I have found a product called helpndoc which I think is going to serve my needs well.

It uses a Windows editor to generate help documents in various formats including html, pdf and Word. It was originally intended for creating Windows help files and that shows in the html content but I like it and it is simple to use.
Best of all it is free for personal use (it does include some branding but I can live with that).
