Got the free hub off… which side do I knock out first?
It lookk like it should be drive side (i.e. hit the end of the axle that sticks through the disk)???
is it the same as the Pro2 instructions on the Hope Website???
    Cheers

I had to hit my axle so hard I had to use a 1/2 lump hammer, and was splitting blocks of wood in half and broke a couple of house bricks under the wood before the bearings started to shift…they came out in bits from the battering. Ended up mushrooming the end of the axle slightly so had to file it gently so it fitted back into the dropouts nicely!

If you use a bolt dropped into the axle & hit that instead of the axle it prevents that sort of damage

Heat the hub. it expands and the bearings become a much looser fit. Easiest way if to wrap a rag around the hub and pour boiling water over it.

Freeze the new bearings as well
