  • Hope Brake Lines… Question.

    Hi All,

Whilst shortening my brake line last night I tried to pull out the loop that goes to the banjo bolt and it snapped! Note: It’s not the screw in type.

My line is braided and I know it’s not Goodridge type that screws in. I take it that it’s called push fit…

Can I use the Goodridge type and just screw the next one in? I need to know if the internal diameter will be the same.

The line was original fit from Hope on an M6ti.

    Cheers all.

Presume it’s the earlier type fitting in aluminium, with the fir tree as part of the connector. Got a load of these at Sunset if you want a direct replacement, later stainless and brass fittings will also work, though you’ll have to trim back the plastic sleeving to fit the new olive, or as suggested, Goodridge screw-in fittings will work fine as it’s essentially the same hose.
