a friend is looking for some used Hope brakes and has spotted some good deals on the old mini M4 brakes, but these come with the older mini levers and he wants the newer tech or evo levers.

can the older M4 calipers be retrofitted to these levers?

Seeing as the original hope mini lever(also used for the original M4 brake) were used on the mono M4’s which were also specced later with the tech levers I’d say yes. I swapped the levers from my tech X2’s onto my mono M4’s and they work just fine for DH duties and the X2’s work fine with the race levers that were on the Mono M4.
