We stayed the night at Carnac in northern France on the way back from the Pyranees last year, the stones there aren’t the biggest I’ve ever seen but there’s several fields full of ’em!

    Agree Avebury is very cool.

Somewhere along the Trans America bicycle trail there is a recreation of Stonehenge in expanding foam. Foamhenge

The Devil’s Quoits (reconstruction) in Stanton Harcourt. The massive landfill site makes for a rather ‘unique’ setting.

Must get to Woodhenge but rather concerned about the lack of vibes from bits of wood hammered into the ground. 😐 Durrington Walls must also be visited, should get some decent vibes from the stone.

IS a henge defined as a circular/ring structure? If so, there is a really wonderfully situated one at the head of the Llia valley above Ystradfellte.
