    Ask him to send you £1.50 to send the money.

    Then send him a picture of a kitten.

    If he complains via the proper paypal route, (you know, the paypal.com website you access directly, by typing paypal.com into a browser, from a computer with no malware or viruses) ask him to e-mail you a picture of him with the kitten picture, on a bus.

    after a few months of this, change your email address.

    Sold quite a bit of software to Nigerian businesses in my previous job as they were on my patch. However, used to get quite a lot of leads for guys with delusions of grandeur or attempting a scam. Funnily enough they never made it on to my prospect list.

    Our company does half it’s business in Nigeria – about $25m per annum, so it is possible to do business with them and get paid, but we only deal with Letters of Credit via Western Banks so all the risk is on their side, once we present an Airway Bill, the bank pays us. Only way to do business there.
