My parents have just purchased a couple of electric assist bikes (not my idea of a nice ride) but I’m pleased that they are getting some exercise.

Can anyone come up with some suggestions for bike related gifts, err let me rephrase that, cheap bike related gifts 😀

well you picked the perfect forum to ask! everyone here seems to be over 30 and for some reason, probably against their doctors advice, still ride bikes 😯

bike covers if they’re storing them outside?
vouchers for servicing at the LBS?
giant hats to fit over their helmets?

does being over 30 mean you are an OAP?

if so, that is excellent – I can retire!

Mirrors as, if they are OAPs, they might have restricted movement and feel nervous glancing round to see what’s behind them before manouvering.

puncture proof tyres and/or slimed tubes.

good lights – maybe some that go on the wheels for side visibility.
