Just got myself a garmin edge 200, first ride recorded and the @@@@ thing won’t upload to garmin connect….
Just hangs at the upload page trying to get contents off the device.
I’ve tried resetting device, reloading communicator etc.
    No joy.
Anyone else having or had the same issue and fixed it?
    Thanks

I get regular error messages if it has got wet on a rainy ride or covered in sweat (stationary trainer) as moisture gets into the port. Usually let it dry out on the bench for a few days. I’ve started duct taping over the rubber cover for the usb port to keep moisture out, seems to do the trick.

Can’t possibly be that as only 1 dry ride done with it!
    Thanks anyhow.

I’ve had limited success with mine in the past so now I just mount it as a drive, copy the latest rides to my desktop and use the manual uploader

    Just as an update…
Fixed it by deleting the existing courses that I had downloaded to the garmin from gpx files I had rode previously in Endomondo.
Soon as I deleted those, the new ride I had done uploaded no problem.
    Ta.

Google it, but I think it’s
    1. Power off
    2. Plug in
    3. Hold ‘page’ button
    4. Power on

I have to regularly do it
