Anyone know the front mech size for a dialled Alpine? I have a 28.6/34.9, however it seems either slightly too small or miles too big.

Also anyone ridden one with Lyriks? and if so what was it like

arse, I got the frame 2nd hand and there weren’t any shims.

It’s about 30mm I think – you might be able to use one bigger shim and some Coke can?

That is what I did…..and then I found the shims in the box afterwards.

Also anyone know if the ISCG mounts are 05 or not?

Lyriks would be fine, but I dont think you need 160mm travel unless your riding in the alps

Thats what I am thinking, I have some 05 AM1’s but as they are QR’s they are a bit twangy but more than likely better suited for all round riding.

Saw this thread earlier but forgot my password to log on at work.

I’ve got Lyriks on my Alpine and they are ace. Mostly have it set to 140mm and it behave really well. Wound down to 120mm it’s wrong, jack it up to 160mm for bigger descents and it absolutely flies.

Perfect fork to get the most out of that frame I reckon.
