Indeed, at this time of day at least.

Or, and I shudder at the possibility of this, he’s married to a common person!

I’m assuming he’s in a different time zone to the rest of us and it is nearing dinner time where he is.

‘Tea’ is our dinner as opposed to lunch…( which she didn’t cook either ).

On Saturday I had to take junior to a swimming gala – leave home at 5pm, home about 9pm

MrsMCTD did him a proper cooked tea at 4.30.

She seemed astonished that I thought I might get one at the same time.

“But it’s too early for you!” she said.

And 9.30 was apparently too late as well – she still couldn’t figure out why I was miffed with her the next day.

If I don’t hear anything I’ll presume she’s run of with the milkman and I’ll end up cooking my own ‘Tea’. How bloody selfish of her..

Oh well, Wraps it is then.
Battered C. Nuggets, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, Nat. Yoghurt, grated cheese & BBQ sauce.

I’m gonna miss the wife though.

Yes she did. She also didn’t make me ‘packed dinners’, which I didn’t take to work in a dinnerbox.

Amazing how a post can go from someone wanting to know where their dinner is to a public schoolboy taking one up the wrong-un at lunchtime. 😀

Its every thread that ever was, starts off with one thing and ends up completely off on a topic that couldn’t be dreamed up 🙂

To bring the thread, kicking and screaming, back on topic…..

I once asking for the gf to have my evening meal (to avoid confusion) ready for when I got home from work as was ravenous, as I had managed to forget both wallet and food that morning.

I emphasise the term ‘Once’. I had to endure the silent treatment, followed by an argument, followed by having to make my own evening meal. Apparently it is fine to assume that a meal would be cooked. But not to ask…..

She’d soon be assuming she’s getting housekeeping that month, along with all the bills paid which she assumes the toothfairy must pay for.
