Been off the bikes for nearly 4 weeks because of the mother of all Flu!

Was great to get out of the house for a ride today, but boy do I feel unfit!

Managed a simple local loop, which had me gasping on all the climbs!

So anyone else struggling after flu/xmas?

Same here mate, took the opportunity to get the bike in and serviced whilst i was laid up, got out today and reckon maybe I tried too early.

Now looking to get my lungs in and serviced whilst i’m laid up.

just had my first ride after being laid up for 2 weeks. Soon after starting thought no way would i do the planned route (cut gate)but just kept going and going until reaching the other end.
Really glad i got out and guess i will find out tomorrow if i should have stayed at home!

I had my first ride on Sunday since my flu dose – think i went back too early though as my lungs are now attempting to detach themselves from their anchor points. Nevermind a few steriods and some inhalers will fix that for Dalby on Friday.
