Wife is getting a wee bit claustrophobic for one reason or another down in Frenchay – any suggestions for places to go/things to do to help her get a bit of space and clear her head?

Google Snuff Mills, it’s a 2 minute drive away & great place to go for a walk

and Oldbury Court Estate – they are probably both walkable from Frenchay if need be.

Does she have any local support or is she in need of anything?

Lovely circular walk along the River Frome from Winterbourne, 5 minute drive from the hospital.

Wallop – she’s got a bit of local support, but as I’m sure you can appreciate she’s getting a little bit smothered by spending so much time in the company of people who she wouldnt normally chose to spend a lot of time with.

Frenchey has a nature reserve within it’s grounds, it’s behind the main carpark. Check it out. When my nan was in Frenchey I couldn’t help moving stick around building trail.
