Spin (and other ultra runners on here) – if you don’t mind me asking, how do you get along with injuries when training and performing in ultra events? Are you just “lucky” and blessed with injury free bodies or do you do loads of yoga or Pilates or anything like that? Do you find you just “run through” a lot of aches and pains or do they never actually occur?
Much the same as Spin – lots of niggles, but touch wood nothing too serious at the moment. I have been injured, usually when I ramp up the training too hard after a break. I do Pilates once a week which seems to help, and try to remember to do my stretches. This year I want to add some weights in to see if that improves my times.
