    Morning,

Just about to head to Edinburgh for the day with my brother on our Bromptons, we will do the Castle, Royal Mile, Princess Street etc.. But anything else you lot recommend?

We can’t go to far afield as his better half is coming aswell and going for a look round the shops and visiting the dungeons etc.

Can we get our Bromptons into places like the Castle if we decide to visit?

    Thanks,

    Mike.

Why bother with the bikes? The city centre is compact enough to be explored on foot. If you want to go for a cyle, the canal and water of Leith both connect to a path network extending through the city in all directions. Take in Arthurs Seat, Duddingston, out to Joppa and back along the prom at Portobello or out to South Queensferry via Dalmeny Estate.

Yeah but he has just got his and I borrowed a demo for the day so thought we could go for a cycle while he was up from London.

The cycling round Edinburgh is great on the paths that Scotroutes mentioned – the castle and all the other touristy things will be there the next time he’s up….

Just saw your whole post Scotroutes.. Phone only loaded the first line when first viewed. All those routes sound ace, we will have a look when we get there and do some.

    Thanks.

If you head out to South Queensferry then stop for a pint at the Dawes Inn and study the Forth Bridge from the beer garden 🙂
