Does anyone know whether there is such a thing as an E Type front mech mount that has a cable stop incorporated.

My frame doesn’t have a front mech cable stop – it was designed for hammerschmidt – & I’m trying to think up a solution for running a front mech.

The frame is a Nicolai Helius ST. You can obtain a bolt on mech tower but that looks naff, & it would still leave the problem of a cable stop.

    Any ideas?

Problem solver mount and a direct mount mech. The latter has a cable stop built in.

The frame has a very slack seat tube which means you can’t align a front mech that mounts to that. It actually has a stub at the back that you buy a bolt on extension for, but it looks awful; hence the E Type mech. That said, the Problem Solver back stop would possibly do the job.
