    Hello,

My DT Swiss XCM 130s feel very harsh over small bumps, I've stripped them down, replaced the oil from 10wt to 7.5wt, but they still dont feel very plush at all.

Has anyone had this same problem, and found a resolution to it?

    Cheers

I had something like this, only in mine it was extremely slight, you only really noticed it on road really. I sent them away to Fork English, and he said they'd become every so slightly out of alignment.. so I probably did it on some crash or other.

It feels the same as if they were vanillas with too heavy a spring…. they feel too reluctant to move if that makes sense.

Mine felt like there was a bit too much compression damping when riding on road – although was fine off it on the bumps. I can only think of alighment.. or perhaps you need new internal seals. They only last so long. The rubber degrades after a year or so.

Ring Fork English – he knows his stuff.
