Does anyone know of any software that will allow the retrieval of missing file portions downloaded from the web? I used to use one in the bad old days of dial up internet but cant remember what it was called. Im currently sat on an oilrig and the crap connection keeps dropping out halfway through downloading a file i need, so i want a programme to let me carry on downloading from where it dropped off.

ah, i thought it cached downloads, seems to for me. try the downloadhelper plugin in that case
