Yup the reasons for kicking it out are more frightening than trump.
Trump is just batty, but the republicans are, well terrifying.
"Despite what you hear in the press, healthcare is coming along great. We are talking to many groups and it will end in a beautiful picture!"

Same odds as the one I have given Kimber.
I feel lucky too. 😛

would anyone of you wish to bet? How long do you give President Trump then we bet? Don't have to bet more than £10 if you are unsure
PaddyPower are offering 11/10 on impeachment so what odds are you offering? (cue chewkw suddenly not understanding betting)
Wanna bet? 😛
Regardless of whatever ... if he is still a President for full term I win. Wanna bet?
Ha! the Art of the Deal, my arse
He was an idiot for trying to rush it through so quickly, i think he's didn't too long believing his own hype, being surrounded by yes-men
Wow, who knew Healthcare was so complicated eh??? 😆

President Trump can always try again so what's the big deal? Try again innit. Learn from mistake all that ... never give up. 😆
They should organise a march don't you think so? 😛
President Trump can always try again so what's the big deal? Try again innit.
The big deal is the master negotiator, the man who can make amazing deals with anyone and get what he wants just failed. He made a series of basic mistakes that either show a lack of knowledge/understanding or stupidity. Throwing around ultimatums when he should have been talking is one, not consulting on a bill or checking its facts was another. It's the sign of somebody very much out of his depth and floundering.
Wanna bet?
What odds are you offering and what for? Ladbrokes are offering 4/5 on not serving full term - impeachment or resign. I don't as a rule bet on less than 3/1, so if you offer 5/1 on not going full term, I'll take £50 on it. What would you say to before the end of 2018? 12/1?

😆 The more inexperience he is the stronger he will be as President coz that is exactly the reason people voted for him. They did not vote for smooth talking politician that takes the people for a ride.
He may make mistakes but so what it just goes to show that he is much more ordinary than those "self proclaim living saints" ... 😆
Remember he promised to get rid of Obamacare but he got voted down ... guess who is the bad guy(s)? 😆

Ryan - "we will never give up on destroying the healthcare system."
Simple Freudian slip, ill thought-out phrasing, or revelation of the administration's true intentions?

You want better odds than Ladbrokes? 😆
Let's keep it simple if you bet £50 how much do you want in return if you win?
It's just for a bit of fun ... I shall put aside £1K to play with you lot.
President Trump can always try again so what's the big deal? Try again innit. Learn from mistake all that ... never give up.
Trump has said hes ................ giving up
which is funny coz previously he said
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/697182075045179392
and now isnt going to bother trying again and carry on with tax reform instead
which according to Ryan
"Yes this does make tax reform more difficult,"
Ultimately its more damaging for the Republicans, theyve spent 7 years telling everyone that Obamacare sucks and theyd replace it with something better.
If he cant count on them to get this through, can he rely on them for that first impeachment vote?
5/1 - work it out. Sorry, forgot it's you so 5* stake plus original stake = £300. Easy £50 for you if President Tinyhands is in as strong a position as you say. And I take it your offer is open to everyone?

No spin coz people voted for him and they know it's not easy to deal with career politicians entrenched in their current position.
😆
It also sends a signal that he has no stomach for a fight, this political bit is all too much hard work, all you have to do is frustrate him once and he will give up (I assume they are making up the room and warming his golf clubs up)

Let's make the bet easy ... keep it simple. Yes, offer is to everyone but I have £1K only so not much to go around, hence I say £10 previously just for fun.
Okay ... let's see if you are strong enough.
President Trump complete full term.
If he completes full term. I win £300.
If he does not complete full term, you win £300.
How about that? 😛
To be fair if inexperience makes you a good president then trump will the the best president ever. Unfortunately in the real world inexperience just means you don't know what you're doing, in all honesty failing to destroy obamacare is the best thing trump has done so far.

1. How do you intend to measure that?
2. How do you award "best" to a President?
3. What is best?

1. Real world is full of unknowns as it is impossible to know it all.
2. Failing to get rid of Obamacare is merely a learning curve as he is new to the Presidency. Normal I say.
BigButSlimmerBloke - Member
like this..?The more inexperience he is the stronger he will be as President
You meant President Trump who people have voted for? The President of United State of America. 😛
I wonder how his request for wall funding is going? Next fall right there.
President Trump complete full term.If he completes full term. I win £300.
If he does not complete full term, you win £300.
How about that
like I said earlier
(cue chewkw suddenly not understanding betting)
5/1 chewk, after all, according to you, repeated failures will only make Trump stronger so he should be pretty much invincible in a couple of months. Or maybe putting your money where your mouth is isn't really for you?
How about 12/1 on gone before 31/12/18?
2. Failing to get rid of Obamacare is merely a learning curve as he is new to the Presidency. Normal I say.
Well I say you are learning less than Trump so far.
2 immigration orders in the bin.
Couldn't be bothered to sort out health care as its a bit too complicated.
A budget most people are laughing at (in his own party)
Tax reform that will probably not pass.
Problem really is this job doesn't have a training time. Reality time Trump is and has been a politician, he is part of the system, he is part of the establishment. He is just not very good or capable.

No, I cannot do 12/1 or 5/1 coz that's not how I play. I have never placed a bet in UK in my entire life ... 😛
I can do 2/1 or simple £300 win or loose but not like those odds from Labrokes. Remember bookies are bookies, I am not a bookie but just placing a bet with you.
How about it ... £300 win or loose after all you have your reasons that President Trump cannot go full term but I see things differently.
He can't be going to Florida this weekend now...can he?
so the master negotiator and prime deal maker just failed to make a deal with the party he leads
Shameful that they pulled it for not being harsh enough on poor people but hey that's the Republicans.
The summary seems to be that some Republicans (those still in possession of functioning souls or with a lot of lower income voters in their area) felt it went a bit too far; while some conservative Republicans thought it didn't go far enough.
Trump successfully split his own party on something they've apparently wanted for years.
And he is now trying to blame the Democrats 😆
5/1 chewk
I think Trump will probably cling to power as hard as he can, even if it doesn't go his way.
But if Chewkw is offering those odds I'd take them for a few hundred (and then lay off the bet at PaddyPower!).

There are many ways to skin a cat don't you think so? 😛
Yes, it's a learning curve for him as an outsiders to politics so what's the hurry?
Like I said it is not President Trump that prevents the reform ... He tried but others just sabotage him.
Problem really is this job doesn't have a training time. Reality time Trump is and has been a politician, he is part of the system, he is part of the establishment. He is just not very good or capable.
Yes, everyone knows there is no training time but the reality is that he is an outsider that won the Presidency. To the shock of all career politicians they now want to make it as hard for him as possible to succeed. No surprise there ... 😛
He tried but others just sabotage him.
Yeah, his own party! Which he has divided.
Win or loose £300 how about it? Like any sort of challenge it is always 1:1, so £300 for £300 is fair is it not after all both of us are confident of winning. How about it? 😆BigButSlimmerBloke - Member
No, I cannot do 12/1 or 5/1 coz that's not how I play
Didn't think you would. I wouldn't bet on Trump going full term either.
But if Chewkw is offering those odds
except he isn't biting because, whatever shite he posts, he knows Trump's a joke who is less than 50/50 to see the full term out.
The insight into the 3 Trump fans in here sums it up really.
Blind faith and obedience
Complete dedication as the pain inflicted on others is good sport
Incredible ability to see only what you want.
It sums up why his core support is actually quite low. It's what got him over the line in a republican ticket.

Even you have put it down as 50/50 so why not 1:1 ... ? Can't you play fair? Or you have other concerns?

It's not blind faith and obedience but rather exercising the rights to have alternative views. Nobody is inflicting anything on anyone apart from hammering the politicians who refuse to co-operate.
I think that's what the oppositions want everyone to think. This line of argument about low support really does not makes sense to the point of irrational. If the support is low (regardless of technicality) then who should be the President? 😆It sums up why his core support is actually quite low. It's what got him over the line in a republican ticket.

Trump's a cert to run the full term according to you so 5/1 - what are you scared of? Losing? You offered the bet in the first place, yet won't put your money where your mouth is. Why not?
good analysis here

The president made several big mistakes. The first was to endorse a bill whose contents he did not know. Early in the process Mr Trump said:“Nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated.”
His second blunder was to try to rush the bill through Congress. - Barack Obama took the best part of a year to marshal his healthcare reform on to the statute books and his bill had the ideological backing of his own party. Mr Trump tried to push his own version through in less than a month.
White House officials said Mr Trump “gave his all” in trying to push the bill through. But since the effort began Mr Trump took five trips to Mar-a-Lago, played nine rounds of golf and allowed his daughter and son-in-law — Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner — to be away on vacation in Aspen on the day it was supposed to go to the vote. If this was Mr Trump’s idea of pulling out all the stops, what would taking it easy look like? The result augurs badly for Mr Trump’s agenda. Seven years and a day after Obamacare became law, the Tea Party preferred to keep the hated law alive than submit to Mr Trump’s arm-twisting.
amateur
I offered the bet knowing it was safe because you wouldn't take it, not having the courage to back up your convictions. Full of wind and piss, like most trolls. Later.
So the great dealmaker, the brilliant negotiator has delivered bigly - right? Admittedly, could be a brilliant ploy to walk away from the table and return later to negotiate much better result.
That was his stated approach in business to contractors and he was unconcerned about stiffing them - and anyone else.
Rather than relying on the contents of 'The art of the deal - top of the fiction charts in it's day - he should have read 'It's a deal' by Paul Steele and others; published at around the same time.
Given that Kushner and wife are away will the Trump tweet machine be in overdrive from 6am EST?
I feel sorry for those US citizens who believed the orange one; he 'wrote cheques for them' which they will be unable to cash. This is likely to be the first of many.
Rust belt revenge is surely on it's way to him - may take a few more failures before it becomes fully fuelled but....it's coming.
WOOOO HOOOOO!
I cannot offer Ladbrokes' odd so 1:1 is all I can offer.
Not something I'd bet on in the current climate, but if it was and I could get better odds elsewhere with a proper promise of payout on a win, then why would I bet with you?!
The insight into the 3 Trump fans in here sums it up really...
I was just reading a story about a woman how voted for Trump and now her husband is being deported.
Apparently she thought he was going to crack down on the other illegal immigrants (because he said so). 🙄
