    I don't suppose anyone has a dead LED on a normal star-mount PCB they haven't thrown away? I've been asked to mock-up a mounted LED to show historic bulb development, so just need to solder a mounting wire on, not power it up.

    Can anybody help?

    Yes – I have a couple. Fake Luxeon 1 w on star, luxeon 3w on star, cree 3 W on 20mm round.
