Dropped my external HD and now can’t get PC to read contents (it lights up but not spinning)- PC recognises the drive 🙁

Any ideas on how I can recover the data or any recommendations for a specialist Co? It’s got 1TB of photos, music and docs on it so ditching is not really an option.

I’ve never used it, but Recuva is well regarded.

OnTrack are the go-to for data recovery, expect to pay a considerable amount of money. Backups are considerably cheaper than data recovery.
