I need to get some pads for my Hope X2’s and was looking at the DiscoBrakes site.

    Anyone use their pads?
    Are they any good?

    Hi,
I used them with no problems. Went through a couple of sets quickly but probably due to not bedding in properly!

They’re alright- I used their sintered, they weren’t that strong or that durable tbh (about as powerful as superstar sintered, but not as long lived). I’ve been happier with Superstar in general but Disco were fine too.

(I did have a disco one fall apart, but then I’ve had that with Shimano too, and it happens to other brands- so not too fussed, think it’s just something bike brakes can do sometimes)

I have them on my XTs – don’t last as long as the Shimano ones they replaced, and they seem more prone to squealing.

But given how cheap they are, no complaints.

I have used them for a few years now with no issues on various bikes/brakes.
