If they could do something with that ugly chain stay, that’d be a half decent looking bike.

Maybe it comes pre-scratched, so you don’t have to worry about getting the first one?

There’s usually a piece of masking tape around the fork crown, I’d imagine it’s sticky crap off that. stupid not to clean it though!

    Bike looks good.

What do you think of the cross bikes with 105 gears for £800?

I’d love to see a decent review of either of those by a UK mag, especially if the author could park their prejudices for a while.

Maybe they could combine it with the review of the lights everyone now has too

    ^ This
Two friends in the Peak had a HT and an older FS from Decathlon – HT was superb ride and amazing value, and their support when the RS Duke forks failed was superb (just take another of our new bikes off the shop floor sir, for the duration we sort the warranty out…)
The FS was heavy, but seemed to ride well, if a little steep of angle.

I’ve always thought those SC’s look a bit like a school metal work project. Looks like a collection of spare pipes welded together randomly. Never really understood the appeal, although the newer models look really quite nice

It will be excellent. They’ve made cross bikes for years and kitted out the French team. Thy are definitely not jean-ie-come-lately to the party.

assuming they mean 800 quid supermarket bikes, can’t really argue!

    from the CX bike blurb

BTWIN X fork with Alu pivot and carbon blades, this bike is properly, maintaining precision at high speeds

google translated? Looks like a decent bike for the cash
