I need some new cheap, rim-brake wheels for the commuter after the current rim split this morning. I was in Decathlon a few weeks back and noticed the mavic crossrides for £105, thinking bargain. But then I saw their own Rockrider wheels for about £54 the pair. Has anyone tried them? Are they good (enough for a commute steed at least)? Any better alternatives?

i've got decathelon 700 wheels on my commuter and they work fine mate. i'd recommend them for commuting for sure.
