The majority of race numbers I have at home (the decent ones anyway) are made by Stacy's of Chelmsford.

For the Big Bike Bash we used normal A4 paper, cut it in half to make A5 and then cheapest laminater pouches we could get. Pain sitting there feeding the laminater but it did the trick quite cheap.

How many do you need and where are you based?

Stacy's of Chelmsford sounds familiar for the Gorrick ones, they're pretty good, although WCAs idea would be cheaper.

Stacy's of Chelmsford have always done all the Beastway number plates, they're very good.
If you want pin-on numbers (eg for cyclocross) then Impsport.

My method was chosen because it was cheapest. Even managed to blag the laminator pouches from one of our sponsors.

It was about 30 seconds per lamination. I have a laminator you can borrow if you are near Southampton. We did 300 for the Big Bike Bash in a couple of evenings.

ah, i thought i'd got the wrong number once when it said "Stacey – Chelmsford" at the bottom. Assumed it was originally meant from a woman from essex called stacey…

Why not put a big shout out to everyoe on here and see if you can get 250 used numberboards.

Would be quite funny to have each board completely different !
