Does anyone know of somewhere that does nice cycling related cufflinks? the only ones on the net I can find that are nice & not cheap & nasty looking are these; http://www.englishcufflinks.com/cyclist.htm but can't order as they're on summer holiday atm.

Can anyone come up with something similar? (ie not like this http://www.ukcufflinks.co.uk/Product/261/CK248/wheesh/bicycle-cufflinks.html

4 links of chain (2 outers 2 inners) all joined up makes a nice pendant on a neck chain.

Could this be rigged together somehow to make a DIY cufflink?

BigJohn, they possibly could by someone with a fluid oz of artistic blood in them, but, definitely not by me! You're on the right lines though! I used to have some earrings made out of chain links, I wonder where he got them.

Teeto, seen those but they're not quite what I'm after – definitely think I'm after something more stylised or modern looking.

Well, a jockey wheel (or used disc pad) on one side, a bit of bent spoke or chainring bolt holding them all together.

I was best man for my mate's wedding last year and as a best man's gift, his cousin made custom cuff links. They were like an hour glass shape of solid silver (rather than a folding bar like those pictured above) with a spikey cog imprinted on the outer. They were really neat. I say 'were', I can't find them at the moment :(.

However, she makes custom jewellery and I'm sure would knock something similar up on request. If you're interested send me a mail.

Mrs BigJohn wears high heels when we ride into town for a night out.

She reports that when going up & down kerbs etc. the heel catches the pavement.

BigJohn, that's because she's not clipped in 😉

ana nichoola is run by my sister, those shoes do get a lot of attention! I think the prototypes have nearly been perfected too.

as I copper I got some from them as a leaving present from a dept at work, each one was a pair of handcuffs, which works on so many levels my head hurts….

As a former science geek my favourite cufflinks (not cycling related though) are a pair where each one is a working compass. Think they were from Next.

I got some sweet flat pedals made by Crawford Carrick Anderson of
CCA-signs, the downhill dude. 50 quid in sterling silver in May 06, might be worth an email to see if he's still making stuff with metal as he has gone more sign based, used to be CCA-designs.
