Much difference? For an enduro build…..

The SLX will still look new in 2 years time, whereas the finish will have rubbed off the Zees in 3-4 rides. In 2 years of owning the slx they still look box fresh and this was on my go-to trail bike. The Zees on my downhill bike have worn through to the metal and look awful despite only being ridden 9-10 times in 6 months!

My two sets of slx still look great after about a year.

SLX cos you get two extra chainrings to sell unused if you go 1x

There’s 150g of weight difference, if you care about that. I’d definitely have the SLX.

Zee is single ring Deore, SLX much higher spec

Not quite that simple, IIRC the Zee is essentially Deore crank arms but a different axle. Big weight difference between the two.

    Slx for enduroing, deffo.

Zee chainset is a right old lump.

Slx is the only option, why do Shimano make more expensive cranks with a worse finish?
