Oh the wringing of hands, the sleepless nights, is this an insane xxx vs xxx.
I have whittled my choice down to these two great machines. I currently ride a Whyte 19 Trail 2011 vintage but find it beats me to death on longer rides, would the Soul be compliant enough to ease my pain or is the Whyte the best choice.
I generally just ride trails and enjoy climbing more than the down hills but can get air if needed.
Feel free to entertain me with your musings.

What about an Enduro ebike with drop bars?

A couple of the older gents in the riding club went from various 29er HTs to T130s because they needed the comfort. They absolutely love the bikes and join the two weekly rides more often. It gives them the comfort they need, without too much extra effort. I’d say the Whyte spot on for what you need.

(It’s also a bloody fun bike to ride!)

The Soul is still a hardtail.
