looking at making a bid with a mate on his Chumba hx2 frame its a few years old but its in good nick how much are they worth?

I’ve had and sold 2 hx1s and tbh the resale value isn’t great despite them being really good frames.

cheers ive had a hx1 but i swapped it for a road bike and bought it as a full bike in the first place so no idea how much there worth

I was gonna say £120-140 if it is in really really good nick, includes headset etc. As it’s a few years it probably has battle scars so £120 sounds right.

Have you seen this though, may not be your thing but hey…it’s a damn good price.

If its a version 2 they make a great semi fat as there’s plenty of rear clearance

Yes they are.

If it’s silver it’s almost certainly the newer model – afaik they didn’t make a silver mk1.

Thankfully 17in is too small for me…

Ivan I’m 6ft and the medium is fine fo me although it’s the missus bike officially!

6’3 here so the med is just a bit small. Just as well to be fair as I’ve nothing to put on it.

I sold mine with hope headset & the EBB for £160 or £170 on here to Tazzy this time last year, it was less than 12months old and in pretty good nick
