noticed this week, that my commuting route to work is lined with cherry tree’s.
never noticed em before, so today I stopped and had a bit of a gorge on them.
    very nice indeed.

I meant to ask, is there a bit of a cherry tree infestation this year?

BTW the common Cherry that grows in the UK is poisonous and not the same as a Cherry that you get in the supermarket

It appears to be shaping up to be a pretty fine year for all kinds of wild fruit / nuts this year (1). The cold spring held the blossom back, so when it did finally flower, it didn’t get hit by the wind / late frosts (like previous years), giving it the chance to set nicely.
