Meh, Sonic wasn’t anything new. It was just a Sega version of Super Mario Bros.

lots of big game changing games missing there. Gran turismo? Metal gear?
No bullet hell shooters, no RPG’s (FF7?), missed out MUD’s (like WoW was an original concept). But I suppose it’s good just to see a “grown up” program on the subject.

good programme… but where were the sports games (not including wee sports)?
no driving games? no Outrun, no Mario Kart, no F-Zero, no Gran Turismo, no TOCA, no Colin McRae?
No football games? no FIFA, no Sensible Soccer, no Kick Off 2, no Pro Evo?

I didn’t watch it all but… No Goldeneye?!? Wasn’t a brand new concept or anything but surely the best FPS?

Goldeneye was just a fancy Wolfenstein.
