    ..nappy cream?

They’re both waterproof barrier creams aren’t they?

Ive used Sudocreme in the past when I’ve run out of proper chammy cream. The real stuff is a lot nicer. I found the sudocreme too stick and didn’t ‘lube’ the area enough 😮

FWIW the Assos stuff is brilliant.

If you’re talking about sudocreme then IMO it’s not really a suitable substitute for chamois cream, it’s much more water resistant so a pain getting the stuff off your hands after putting it on + I’m not convinced it comes out properly in a 30c wash – also it does seem to stay as slippery as chamois cream so doesn’t feel like it’s doing much after a few miles.

On the other hand I find Sudocreme to be fine aprt from getting it off my hands / from under my nails afterwards.
Good for stopping sores from knee pads rubbing too.

Sudocreme isnt as good as proper chammy creme but its better than wet grit in your pants, but works best as an after ride healer as opposed to during ride.

This is the best I’ve tried. Very thick in the tub but as soon as it warms up it softens. Lasts really well and contains only natural ingredients which is nice to know.

A few good reviews on the net for it.

Chammy Cream for prevention, nappy cream for cure.
