I like small cars.My current motor is a Fiat Punto, the cheapest, most basic model available. Frugal, fun to drive and reliable. It’s all I need.

According to the What Car I happen to have here, the retained value after 3 years/36k miles of some of these cars:

    Fiat Panda: 33%
Toyota Aygo (and there is a 5 door): 57%
    Suzuki Alto: 44%
    VW Fox: 48%
    Skoda Fabia: 42%
    Peugeot 107: 47%
    Kia Picanto: 38%

Make of that what you will. The Panda is the most stylish!

    to drag this up again…

I have gone 2nd hand… I got a 2002 vw polo, 45K, one owner in mint condition with fsh for £2550

Top end for what it is worth… but it is mint…

I guess it is like buy 12 eggs and get 12 free… do you need 24 eggs. No. Just like I didnt need a new motor.

    Thanks for the help.
