Can anybody tell me if they have been able to source a replacement 1.5" lower headset bearing for the cane creek xc-ll headset.

The lower bearing has died on mine after 10months and the only place I see to get a 1.5" replacement is from CRC for the hefty price of £40.
This seems a blatant rip-off for one bearing. So if anybody knows where I can get a replacement for cheaper ..?

If not. I guess I will have to get a new Hope headset. £20 more than the price of a cane creek replacement bearing – but only £14 to replace their 1.5 bearing.
