  • can you run a front IS disc mount on the rear what size disc?

    Just wondering if you can run the front IS disc mount on the rear caliper? I have a 160mm one for the front and was curious to know if I can run it as rear. Would it need a 140mm disc?

    i know a 180 front doubles as a 160 rear, so id have though the same applies to 160 front and 140 rear…

    I was always under the impression that the rear was 20mm smaller than the front. Certainly works that way with all my hope brakes. Same caliper front and rear but 20mm smaller disc on the back.
