Evening all,

Just wondering if there is anything I can do…

We live next to a small industrial estate that’s home to a few small businesses. One of them has an alarm that’s constantly going off. All hours of the day / night and seems to go on forever.

Are there any regulations about this type of nuisance? It’s not being burgled. It’s becoming a joke.

Lodge a noise complaint with local council EHO

Contact your local council. It will be classed as noise pollution. The noise abatement team or something of the likes in your are should shut them up.

I assume you know which one it is…
Go and see them and let them know there’s a fault, they might not be aware.
If they are arsey.. Council, environmental health is a good start for noise nuisance. Alarms should only ring for 20 mins I think.

Yep if it’s not being reset./checked pop round introduce yourself and explain what’s going on. Perhaps they have no idea it’s happening.
