Didn't pace do a carbon tubed frame in its box section hand made days?
I swear I remember one - would have used Ali head tube, BB, dropouts etc with bonded in carbon "tubes"?

The RC300 had a carbon seat tube. Maybe I saw a concept or am misremembering.
I'm now hankering for an RC200 F8 or an RC300

I had a Pace with a carbon seat tube. It was so flexy that if I stood up and pedalled too hard the front chainring would shift.
